Banning Racism

On this episode, Maria and Meghan record from the epicenter of the current crisis in Minneapolis, MN — giving their white listeners tips on how to be an anti-racist, support systemic change, and raise up the voices and work of BIPOC all around the world and within the Magic community. Anything you are able to do helps! Want to know how to talk to your family about why this is important? Meghan has a letter for you to email around! Want to know where to put your dollars to do the most good? There are links in the show notes! Want to know some good books to read, movies to watch or podcasts to listen to for education or fun? Our hosts have some great ideas. If you’re a listener or color, don’t worry. You don’t have to sit through those tips. You’re good! You can skip ahead in the podcast to 22:47 where we’ve got some Magic talk for you about the recent rules changes and bannings. GLHF knows that sometimes you just need to check out and enjoy some entertainment — because that’s important, too. Thank you to everyone who’s been there for the show — now let’s be there for the people who need us the most. Because Black Lives Matter.

**Please note, our new office building burned during the recent civil unrest in Minneapolis and suffered severe flood damage. We don’t know if or when we’ll be able to be back in that building. We still plan to find a new home somewhere (hopefully soon) and will honor all donations to our Gods of Theros Wall Fund. Your names will be up on whatever wall we end up having! Thank you for your tremendous support, we love you all.**
